Special Announcement: The NCCDP / ICCDP is proud to announce the 2014 winners selected for of the Year. Laura Sharkey Cardillo of the Avalon at Hillsboro (NJ) and Marjorie Cass of Manor By the Sea (NJ) in conjunction with NCCDP/ ICCDP Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Staff Education Week Feb 14th -21st. NCCDP / ICCDP received hundreds of entries from around the world. The entries were judged on education in-services, theme of week, originality and photos. Congratulations to Marjorie Cass and Laura Sharkey Cardillo. NCCDP / ICCDP in honor of Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Staff Education Week and to raise awareness of the importance of continued education of our front line staff and health care professionals, provides free staff in-services (includes power point, handouts, tests) to ensure the staff are provided the tools they need through education to provide compassionate and educated care. The free staff in-services and 2015 Educator of the Year contest forms are available for download November 1st to March 15th every year.
